Squadron History: The Diamondbacks transitioned to the F-14A Tomcat in 1981 and served aboard USS America with Carrier Air Wing One. The carrier’s deployment records list VF-102 during NATO Exercise Northern Wedding in 1982 and the 1986 Mediterranean deployment that included Operation El Dorado Canyon. The squadron continued its America association into the 1990s, including the December 1991–June 1992 Mediterranean, Red Sea, and Persian Gulf deployment. This mug celebrates that Tomcat-era heritage and the aircrews, maintainers, and shipboard teams behind it.

A Meaningful Gift: A thoughtful choice for Diamondbacks veterans, USS America crew members, F-14 pilots and RIOs, maintainers, naval aviation enthusiasts, and military collectors. Ideal for birthdays, retirements, Veterans Day, and squadron reunions.

Support OEH: A portion of every mug sold helps support Operation Engraved Honor and its mission of giving back to veterans and families through music and meaningful assistance.

Care & Details: Dishwasher and microwave safe. Includes one 15 oz ceramic mug with free shipping. Gold and silver effects are printed artwork, not metallic plating or raised embellishments. Lifestyle props are not included.
